These days, I'm thinking about quitting smoking because it makes me feel even more empty right after smoking.
Also, I know this doesn't help my morning routine much, and I know It's not cool anymore.
And I exercise in the morning and try not to drink in the evening, but It doesn't seem to work out.
I don't just want to talk about dopamine detox right now. I want to talk about habits that I want to break.
1. Do you have any habits or behaviors in your life that you would like to break?
- I think still I have this habit while I'm doing something that is Picking my lips.
Especially When I'm really nervous, I'm always looking for my lips to pick and it hurts too.
one day, I realized this habit makes my lips hurt and looks bad with blood or any scar.
so I tried not to pick up my lips, first I try to be conscious when I pick up my lips.
but I can't stop my instinct which earger to pick my lips so I failed
However, Finally I found one better way not to pick up my lips or general way to stop my bad habit.
2. What's the purpose and how do you modulate the behavior?
- For me, to modulate my bad habit, I make other habit instead of bad habit.
For instance, I have habit which I pick up my lips when I'm nervouse.
However, to modulate this habit, I bought rosary ring so that I can pray instead of pick up my lips.
I know this is only way for me. but I think this i good example.
If you want to change or modulate your bad habit, try making good habit.
3. How do you think you would have changed if your habits were broken?
- First of all, I want to say this. "Life is not going on your plan".
If your habit was messed up, then try to figure out what is best things to do right now.
at first, we can't say that is not habit which I've done it once in my life.
but we you regularly do it. then in someday, you can say that is habit.
So try to do new things or keep trying what you want.
Don't be afraid of mess up your life. sometimes that is signal to have new opprutinty.
